Student Anti-Bullying T-Shirt Design Competition

Calling all designers in KW Region  in grades 7-12... Here's your chance to design the logo and t-shirt design for Pink Shirt Day Waterloo Region 2012.

 

Pink Shirt Day is the last Wednesday in February, also known as Anti-Bullying day.  On this day participants are asked to wear pink to symbolize a stand against bullying.

 

The Record is hosting a local design challenge to get youth involved and creative.

 

Who: Creative Students in grades 7 -12.

 

What: Design a 1 colour logo that will be incorporated into the t-shirt design for the Anti-Bullying awareness campaign for Pink Shirt Day Waterloo Region 2012.

 

How: Each entrant must submit their name, school, grade and phone number together with a 1 colour logo design promoting Anti-Bullying awareness.

 

Where: Send your design (no larger than 10 inches x 10 inches) as a JPEG, GIF, PDF or EPS to contests@therecord.com.

 

When: Contest closes Monday February 6th, 2012 at 11:00pm.

 

Prize: The winner will have their logo design printed on t-shirts for Pink Shirt Day Waterloo Region 2012, win $100 cash, In-paper recognition in the Waterloo Region Record, 2 tickets in the Record Box Suite for a Kitchener Rangers game and 4 tickets to a Kitchener Rangers 2011-12 Regular Season Game.
